Wildebeest Eco Camp: A home away from home

Updated: Mar 6

This weekend I had a chance to stay at Wildebeest Eco Camp found on Mokoyeti road off Langata road and I must say it was quiet the experience! As the name suggests, the place is environmentally friendly. This can be seen by the generally green area with plenty of indigenous trees, flowers and animals.

The area sits on around 2 acres of land, with designated pathways, a life-sized chess board, infinity pool and a garden where children can safely run around.

There's also a restaurant on site, which serves lunch and dinner to guests. Breakfast is included in your room payment.

The restaurant serves very tasty meals

The camp has individual tents at an affordable rate of ksh.1,250 a night inclusive of breakfast. This is their cheapest offer.

Wildebeest Eco Camp is best known for its permanent tent rooms which are raised off the ground and well maintained.

The tents come in a variety of sizes, promising luxury from ksh.1,750. Aside from tents, there are small en suite cottages for guests who prefer to sleep in rooms.

This is a great place to unwind either alone or with family members. The area is so serene and peaceful and it will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Thanks for reading! Any other establishment you would suggest for a staycation?
